Waikiki

Today brought another beautiful fun day. Lisa and Jeff had told us about a place in Waikiki that had gigantic pancakes and we decided to check that out. It's called MAC 24-7, as they are open all the time (plus I hear they sell alcohol until 4 am...good to know!). We got the pineapple, coconut, macadamia nut variety and they were awesome! All 4 of us ate our fill on ONE order and still had some to take home.

Lisa, Owen, Ellie and I then went and hung out on Waikiki Beach at "The Ponds". It's a walled in area of the ocean that provides protection
therefore very little wave action, almost like a
swimming pool. This was Ellie's preferred
beach for the day.

They have these great convenience stores all along the strip on Waikiki called ABC stores. Literally, they have one or two on every block. We headed over to one of those and picked up a few fun items; keychains, notepads, etc. and headed home after a HOT day with Owen in the tent.

Jeff went to Target and bought one of those canvas, mosquito netting gazebos and installed it on the lower portion of their back deck. Lisa and I spent the evening arranging patio furniture and it looks wonderful. They hope to get a big outdoor area rug and chandelier to hang from there as well. I haven't taken a photo of it yet but will soon.

ALOHA!

Owen chills at the restaurant!
